VARANASI: Prof. Deepak Mishra from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Institute of the Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, was conferred with two prestigious awards at the 40th Annual Conference of the Asian Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO). Dr. Dipti, a student of Prof. Mishra, also grabbed the AIOS International Hero Award at the conference.
The conference, held from April 2 to 6 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, was a significant event in the field of ophthalmology.
Prof. Mishra received the AIOS Ophthalmic Educator Award for Wet Lab Teaching & Training, recognising his dedication to training over 10,000 residents and young ophthalmologists across India over the past decade. He was also honoured with the AIOS International Hero Award.
