BBC The Wheel contestant left sobbing and speechless as they win life-changing sum

The Wheel fans were left delighted on Saturday night as contestant, Callum, won a life-changing amount of money.

During the latest instalment, Callum, 29, from Liverpool revealed they were a customer service manager in a contact centre for motability car insurance through the Motability Scheme for people who are disabled or otherwise unable to look after themselves mobile on the scheme.

The contestant added they had just moved into a property with their partner and they need renovation work so any prize money would be spent on the house.

After meeting a slew of new contestants throughout the game, it was back to Callum for the final round where they won an incredible £86,000. Host Michael McIntyre announced the news saying: "Callum has won The Wheel, £86,000!"

Callum was left overcome with emotion as they broke down in tears before sobbing as they said: "Oh my gosh", adding: "I can't even speak, oh my God, it's amazing!"

Asked how it would change their life, Callum said: "It's going to change so much, just everything like with us just getting the new house we're really struggling at the minute trying to afford like what to do with things and with this money we can just go for it all.

"I can afford to take everyone away on holidays, I can afford to give some money to work and make a difference. I'm so sorry" to which Callum broke down sobbing again with host Michael comforting the emotional contestant.

Taking to , now X, one person said: "Wow, that's incredible! Huge win for Callum! #TheWheel", a different account wrote: "Congratulations Callum! £86.000! #TheWheel!", another put: "Well done Callum #TheWheel" while a different viewer added: "YES YES YES!!!!! A huge congratulations to Callum!!! He has just won an AMAZING £86K!!! #TheWheel."

Meanwhile, earlier in the episode, guest star issued a hilarious warning. He said: "You know what, I sat here and I just suddenly remembered that every time I'm spun in a fairground or a theme park, I start to wretch! Have you got a sick bag?"
