As the show returned to our screens on Monday evening, fans rushed to social media to share their concerns about the Birmingham-based contestant. One user said: "Alex is the poster boy for a narcissist. He is absolutely terrifying, I can feel his hostility and rage through the screen."
Another pointed out that she only argues with him in front of cameras, explaining: "Alex is terrifying man. holly is in absolute fear of him, she doesn’t wanna argue with him in private because she is SCARED. let her out." One viewer commented: "I totally understand Holly not wanting to confront Alex without cameras there. He is intimidating. He is abusive."
