It’s time – Fortnite Remix Chapter 2 is finally, almost, upon us – being ushered in by yet another live event. I guess Epic is feeling generous!
It’s been a long time coming for players, even though has made the wait seem pretty easy to endure. was the biggest splash that the game made last year, giving players a hearty dose of nostalgia as it plunged them back into the earliest iteration of its battle royale mode. It was an impressive way to execute such a season, too, featuring a Battle Pass crammed with homage skins to the earliest days of the game – but it seems that Fortnite intends to do things a little differently this time around.
is coming to the Island very soon – in what is essentially OG Chapter 2 – with a number of twists on the iconic 2019 era of the game, and there's plenty of , including new skins, crossovers and even some iconic POI's returning.
There’s, clearly, a lot to look forward to in Fortnite Remix Chapter 2, and once the (titled Remix The Prelude) has concluded, we will bear witness to the fresh season and bring the excellent to an end. So, as the time nears, we have to ask once again – is Fortnite down?

Is Fortnite down?Fortnite server downtime will begin at 6am GMT / 2am EDT on Saturday, November 2, and Friday, November 1 at 11pm PDT, ahead of the launch of Remix Chapter 2, with Epic Games confirming the downtime

As this v32.00 update is rolling out an entirely new Fortnite season, we'd expect the downtime to last for approximately five hours – just like the – so Fortnite could be down until 11am GMT / 7am EDT / 4am PDT on Saturday, November 2, which is when we predict . But, with all that being said, Epic Games does have a history of throwing a spanner in the works with downtime, particularly recently, with by an entire day last month, so be prepared to roll with the punches.
Considering what Epic Games cooked up last season, it's built up enough goodwill that we can say with some confidence, that Remix Chapter 2 could well be a banger.
