Coleen Nolan struggled to continue with her tribute to former star Lynda Bellingham as she broke down on-air.
The former singer had been close to the Oxo advert actress, having shared the stage with her and being there in her final TV appearance too.
Recalling Lynda's final interview with her on Loose Women, where she explained to tearful viewers she was putting an end to her chemotherapy and wanted fans to remember her for being "honest", Coleen couldn't hold it together.
Even back then, Coleen found it hard to find the words and was in tears on set. Ten years on, she recalled a moment they had shared after the heartfelt episode. Lynda knew that the former Nolan's sister had found the discussion tough and knew she'd be heading out for a cigarette.
The songstress remembered: "She hated smoking, but she said, 'I'll come with you. I might as well have a cigarette'." Thinking about that moment, Coleen said: "I really miss her," as she began to sob.
Later on, emotions ran high as the cast were joined by Christopher Biggins - who also paid a gushing tribute to the brave TV star, casting his mind back with fondness about who she was as person.
There was further surprises to come, as her two sons Robert and Michael issued ITV with a voice message tribute that was aired on the programme.
Lynda's two sons explained that they were still to this day "bursting with pride" over their beloved mum's achievements. They also issued thanks to everyone and those at Loose Women for continuing to honouring their mother's legacy 10-years on.
As they returned to showcase those in the studio, there wasn't a dry eye in the studio as everyone fondly remembered the much love star who sadly passed away on October 14 2014.
The ITV cast received the sad news that Lynda had passed away in her husband Michael's arms, just two weeks after she took to the stage with Coleen.
Finishing up the heartfelt episode, Coleen lunged from her seat offering up a round of applause and standing ovation for her late friend and co-star, telling the audience and viewers "this one's for you Lynda," as host Christine warmly placed a comforting arm on shoulder.
Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1, from 12:30pm
