Rasmus Hojlund took part in training for Denmark on Monday despite fears around his fitness.
The striker picked up a and missed the opening weeks of the season before eventually returning in the draw at . He's now played three games since coming back into the fold, but has jetted off on international duty.
insisted that Hojlund shouldn't just be thrown back into games, instead wanting to ease him in, but he reportedly missed Sunday's training session with his national team. That was understood to be precautionary and he's since returned to the training pitch.
The stiker was on the bench as Denmark played Spain on Saturday, coming on for the final 12 minutes in a 1-0 defeat. Denmark then held an open recovery training session on Sunday when journalists were allowed to observe and Hojlund was said to be absent.

However he is now back with his compatriots and is likely to be in contention when the Manchester outfit face Brentford at the weekend. Hojlund managed to score for the first time this season when the Red Devils drew 3-3 in Porto. He then featured again in the goalless draw at Aston Villa.
The Dane is looking to press on following an inconsistent debut season. Hojlund was never expected to be the finished article having been signed from Atalanta, but his hefty fee bought pressure with it. He needed until Day to score his first goal.
Ten Hag's side continue to struggle in the final third and their refusal to sign a prolific frontman in recent seasons has been cited as a mistake. Last term Hojlund scored 16 times - but seven of those came during a mid-season purple patch.
This season they've scored just five times - only in the bottom three have found the net fewer times. Joshua Zirzkee was a summer signing from Bologna but, after scoring on his debut on the opening weekend, he's fired blanks as the team's struggles continue.
Ten Hag though has underline his faith in Hojlund to eventually come good. Back in May he said: "When we decided to go for him, we talked about earlier that we buy a player for this season but also for the future. He has to develop. He has to progress. He needs time.”
