A wife is told she 'needs to make changes' by her husband in tense scenes in tonight's episode.
In an exclusive clip obtained by the , the remaining couples are seen heading to their partner's homes as part of homestays week. But while some are happy to introduce their other halves to their friends and family and into their inner sanctums, not everyone is looking forward to it.
Relationship expert Mel Schilling explained: 'We have reached a pivotal moment in the experiment - homestays. The newlyweds, who have been residing together in their apartments now have the chance to experience each other's home environments. This will provide them with invaluable insights into their partner's lifestyles, allowing them to envision what their future could look like beyond the experiment."
One couple who haven't had the best time recently is Polly and Adam. Though they have grown closer over the course of the show, on their wedding day Adam, 33, dropped the bombshell that 29-year-old Polly wasn't his 'usual type'.

Polly is red-haired and curvy, while Adam admitted he preferred 'petite brunettes'. Despite his comments about the initial attraction not being there, the pair consummated the marriage on their honeymoon, but have struggled with intimacy ever since.
Viewers saw Adam try and step up in a bid to be more romantic when he cooked Polly a meal last week with a trail of candles and petals leading to the table. But during wife swap week, things turned sour again when Adam's attempts to spice up their sex life went down like a lead balloon.
Polly stormed out after discovering Adam had gone lingerie shopping with one of the other wives, Amy. Though he bought underwear for Polly, she thought the gift was too much when he doesn't even kiss or cuddle her and lashed out at him for 'confusing' her.

But when some of the other couples pointed out that Polly should consider Adam's feelings and not just her own following a huge row with her husband, the couple are trying to get back on track. As they travel back to Adam's hometown of Nottingham, Polly says: "I am looking forward to the next few days, obviously being here, seeing where you live, seeing what's around. It'll be interesting."
But Adam looked like he was dreading it and stared blankly ahead. Later in the clip he appeared to hint all was not well between them, leaving fans fearing for their future beyond the experiment. He said: "I think homestays has come at a bit of a s*** time for me and Polly. It was only a couple of days ago we had a massive setback - and now Polly needs to make changes if she wants this to work."
Elsewhere, it seemed the other remaining couples were excited for their homestays. Lacey clapped her hands in glee as she headed home for the weekend with husband Nathan as she said: "I can't believe we're here!" While Ross and Sacha were also looking forward to their trip - with Ross keen to be reunited with his three-year-old daughter, Bleu. In an emotional moment, he shared: "I can't wait to see Bleu. It feels like it's been years without seeing her."
