reportedly "threw a fit" before ending his friendship with The Crown actor .
The actor - who plays Harry's dad King Charles in the show - claimed this week that his on-screen son cut him off after he told stories the royal's drunken adventures during a press conference after their charity trip to the South Pole with Walking for the Wounded in 2014. And now it's been reported that Harry became upset with the actor after his frank admissions and thought it was better they end their friendship. The pair have not been friends since the alleged confrontation that occurred after the 2014 press conference where Dominic told the unsavoury tales.
An insider told the: "Harry threw a s*** fit. He accused Dominic of invading his privacy. Dominic told him not to be ridiculous. They haven't spoken since." Plus, the source claimed that he took even more measures to keep Dominic out of his life. If Harry so much as thinks someone is associated with Dominic, he'll reportedly remove them from his life, too.
Dominic commented briefly about this rift on a radio show. He said: "We sort of [lost touch because] I said too much in a press conference, and so, we didn't speak after that. I think I was asked what we did. [And] what we did to celebrate when we got there and [I] probably said too much." Among included one about how they celebrated the completion of their trek. According to Dominic, the crew, including Harry, drank champagne out of an amputee's prosthetic leg. Plus, he claimed that Harry was a bit of a jokester, making raunchy comments while other people danced naked.
Dominic also added: "Two of the Aussie guys stripped naked and ran round the pole but most of us, Harry included, just went on a two-day bender with the Icelandic truck drivers who had brought some lethal home brew with them. There was a lot of liqueur drunk." It was all immature behaviour that was brought up at this press conference. Dominic also praised Harry publicly for his contributions to the trip. He said: "He would often reach the meeting point before the rest of his men and would build these incredibly lavish, castellated latrines, with battlements and loo roll holders. It must have taken him 40 minutes at least to build, they were just fabulous. I would often sit on the latrine thinking 'this is a royal flush in every way!'"
