The wait for the updated Bajaj Dominar 400 seems to be nearing its end, as the 2025 model has started arriving at dealerships across India hinting at an imminent launch. This marks the first major update for Bajaj’s flagship cruiser in several years, as it gears up to take on tough competition from newer rivals like the Triumph Speed 400 and more.
2025 Bajaj Dominar 400: What to expect
One of the biggest highlights of the 2025 Dominar is its brand-new fully digital instrument cluster. Borrowed from the Pulsar NS400Z, the new unit replaces the older dual-screen setup. It will now be equipped with Bluetooth-enabled display offering smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and real-time ride stats and more.
Along with the updated cluster, Bajaj has refreshed the switchgear, adding a D-pad controller and a hazard light switch. Furthermore, the small LCD on the fuel tank has made way for a practical USB charging port.
Besides these changes, we can also expect the introduction of ride-by-wire technology and multiple ABS modes like Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-road; features seen on the NS400Z.
2025 Bajaj Dominar: Engine
At the heart of the 2025 Dominar 400 will be the familiar 373.3cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, tuned to meet the latest OBD-2B norms. It continues to churn out 39.42 bhp and 35 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
