Bajaj Auto has had an exciting year with the launch of the powerful Pulsar NS400Z and the groundbreaking Freedom 125, the world’s first CNG motorcycle . Now, the company is gearing up to further expand its Pulsar lineup with the upcoming Pulsar N125 , the sportiest 125cc variant. Set to launch on October 17, Bajaj has teased key design elements, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from this new addition.
Teased across Bajaj's social media, the Pulsar N125 hints at a sharp and youthful design. The teaser reveals a purple colour scheme, accented by detailed patterns and yellow graphics on the tank extensions.
At its heart, the Pulsar N125 will feature a 125cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine, similar to its sibling, the Pulsar 125. Power figures are still under the wraps but we can expect it to be tuned differently to offer sportier performance. The bike will come equipped with a five-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, Bajaj is likely to pack the N125 with features like LED lighting , digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Suspension duties will be carried out by telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock while braking will be managed by a front disc and rear drum setup, with the possibility of a single-channel ABS.
The model is expected to be priced aggressively, under the Rs 1 lakh mark, to compete aggressively with the likes of the Hero Xtreme 125R , TVS Raider 125 as two of its main rivals.
