Jeep Meridian facelift bookings open in India: Booking amount, expected price, new features and more

Jeep India is all set to launch the new and updated Jeep Meridian in the Indian market. Ahead of its launch, the company has now officially started to accept bookings for the upcoming SUV. Interested customers can book the new Meridian online or by visiting their nearest dealer. The booking amount is set at Rs 50,000 and deliveries are expected to begin right after launch.

The 2025 Jeep Meridian will feature cosmetic exterior updates, including redesigned front and rear bumpers, reprofiled headlamps with new design and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels. As per the teasers, Meridian facelift gets a newly designed grille design. The honeycomb mesh in the seven-slat grille now has chrome studs. Other highlights will include a sharkfin antenna, front and rear skid plates, chrome elements all around and much more.

Moving inside, the overall layout of the interior will remain the same but it will get minor tweaks with additional features. One of the biggest changes is that the new Meridian will be available in 5-seat and 7-seat forms. The outgoing model is offered only with three-row seating. The interior will feature a three-layer dashboard design with a grey finish as opposed to the outgoing model’s beige one, and the chrome strip has been replaced with a copper finish strip.


In terms of features, the SUV will feature a panoramic sunroof, a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an Alpine-sourced nine-speaker music system, 10.2-inch fully digital instrument cluster, connected car tech, wireless charger, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, steering mounted controls and much more. The biggest addition will be the inclusion of Level 2 ADAS in the new Meridian. Other safety features include six airbags, 360-degree surround camera, front parking sensors, hill hold, ABS with EBD, TCS, hill descent control and more.


The Meridian will continue to be powered by Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, Multijet turbine diesel which puts out 170 hp of power and 350 nm torque. Gearbox options include a 9-speed automatic with 4x2 and 4x4 options with multiple terrain modes.
