PBKS beat RCB by 4 wickets in the 34th match of the IPL 2025 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in a rain-affected game. The visiting side handed the home side their third consecutive defeat at home. A collective effort from the bowling attack and a timely knock from Nehal Wadhera helped PBKS seal their second win in a row.

PBKS won the delayed toss and did not hesitate to bowl first on a damp surface. The PBKS bowlers made the most of the conditions and took wickets consistently. Every batter made a pavilion parade, trying to score as many runs as possible, without knowing the true nature of the surface. Barring Tim David, all RCB batters had a poor outing.

The star batter scored his maiden IPL fifty and helped RCB to post a respectable total of 95/9 in their 14 overs. For PBKS, Marco Jansen, Arshdeep Singh, Harpreet Brar, and Yuzvendra Chahal claimed 2 wickets respectively. Chasing 96 in 14 overs, PBKS lost their openers after getting a decent start. They even lost the duo of Shreyas Iyer and Josh Inglis, and were in a bit of trouble.

That's when Nehal Wadhera saved PBKS from a major collapse. The Southpaw scored an unbeaten 33*(19) on a damp surface which had a bit of extra bounce for the pacers and square turn for the spinners. RCB's pacers tried their best to keep the home side in the contest. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood claimed 2 and 3 wickets respectively. But a poor show from their spinners meant RCB had no way out.
