The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh confirmed that the Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak will be held in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from 5 to 7 September. “Selected office bearers of 32 RSS-inspired organisations participate in this Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak,” the RSS stated.
This yearly meeting rotates locations. Last year it was organised in Palakkad, Kerala, in September 2024.
Who will attend
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat will lead the discussions, joined by General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, joint general secretaries known as Sah Sarkaryavahs, and members of the National Executive, including regional coordinators.
The event will also bring together the heads of several affiliated organisations. In total, representatives of 32 groups are expected, among them the BJP, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Vanvasi Kalyan and Seva Samiti.
From the BJP, national president JP Nadda, organisational head BL Santosh, and senior leaders such as Sunil Bansal, Shivprakash, Saudan Singh and V Satish are expected to be present.
What will be discussed
Each participating organisation will table its one-year report during the three-day meeting. Alongside internal reviews, a range of current issues is set to feature, including trade tariffs imposed by the United States.
Speculation is mounting that the name of the next BJP President could also be discussed during the session. Sources indicated that preparations for the centenary year programmes of the RSS will form another key part of the agenda.
Bhagwat’s upcoming engagements in Delhi
Before the Jodhpur meeting, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to attend a two-day event in Delhi at Vigyan Bhavan on 26 and 28 August. During this programme, he will meet well-known figures from different walks of life. On 28 August, he will answer questions submitted in writing over the course of the event.
A similar gathering was organised by the RSS in September 2018 at the same venue.
