Following Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs' recent arrest, a surge of old videos and clips related to him are resurfacing online. One such clip from 2011 features a young Taylor Swift mentioning Diddy as a dream prom date, which has now caught attention.

In the clip, filmed during an appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, a then-early-career Taylor listed her ideal prom dates, naming Diddy, Katy Perry, and Justin Timberlake. She spoke warmly about Diddy, saying, “Diddy has actually always been really nice to me.” When host Rachael Ray chimed in, “He’s a gentleman, isn’t he?” Taylor responded, “I’d really love to be in the group at prom.”

The clip’s resurfacing has led to mixed reactions online. While some criticize Taylor for her past admiration, others defend her, pointing out that she was only 19 or 20 at the time and that the admiration was likely innocent. “As a millennial, we looked up to these people. We didn’t know what was really going on,” shared one user.
