"Thama," a film from Maddock's horror comedy universe starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, has hit theaters. It had a strong opening day. "Thama" proved to be the best opener of Ayushmann Khurrana's career. The low-budget film "Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat," which released alongside it, also performed well. Despite the release of two new films, "Kantara 2" hasn't lost its shine. Find out how these films performed on Tuesday.

"Thama"
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, "Thama" made a box office splash on opening day. The film opened with double-digit collections on its first day. According to a report by SacNilk, the film grossed ₹24 crore on opening day. The film's budget is estimated at ₹150 crore, making it a remarkable achievement. The film also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, along with stars like Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat'
Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa starrer 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' also reached fans during the Diwali festival. Despite clashing with 'Thama' and the already existing film 'Kantara 2', the film has proven its strength. On Tuesday, the film collected ₹8.5 crore on its opening day. Media reports indicate the film's budget was ₹30 crore, making it a strong start.
'Kantara Chapter 1'
Despite the release of two new films on October 21st, Rishabh Shetty's 'Kantara Chapter 1' remains unaffected. The film continues to earn strong earnings. It also earned double digits on Tuesday. According to a report by SACNILC, yesterday, on its 20th day, it grossed ₹12 crore. The film's total box office collection has reached ₹547.15 crore.

'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari'
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's film is also currently running in theaters. The film's luster has now completely faded. It didn't make much money even on Diwali yesterday, and is on the verge of being phased out. Yesterday, Tuesday, the 20th day, it earned just ₹50 lakh. The film's total collection now stands at approximately ₹59.80 crore.
