How did the fans like the film, let's tell you…

With 'Thug Life', Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam have returned together after a long time. 'Thug Life' is a Tamil gangster action drama, in which Kamal Haasan plays the role of an emotional don.
Fans did not like the film.
After watching the film, fans are reacting on social media. A user wrote on the post - 'It's been an hour since I watched the UK premiere of #ThugLife. Weak writing, lack of depth of characters, no emotional connection with any of the main roles, and the music of the film is also ordinary. Should have stayed home and slept.'
Another wrote in the post, 'Failed attempt, screenplay not clear, 'Nayakan' can only happen once. This is a very low-level work of both #KamalHaasan and #ManiRatnam, Trisha's role is the worst.'
Another user gave a review after watching the film and said- 'No emotions, not the right writing for the setup of revenge and deception, only the music and 2 action blocks were good.'
Another posted, 'Big disappointment! Couldn't even watch the whole film. An emotionless, old gangster drama made even worse by a forgettable soundtrack.'
Someone else wrote, '#ThugLife had potential but it dragged. Kamal Haasan gave a great performance, but his endless monologues got tiring. Simbu played his role well, but even he couldn't save the dull, flat second half. Mani Ratnam's trademark spark? 'I couldn't find it anywhere.'

Some viewers liked the film.
One user wrote - Kamal Haasan's acting is amazing, and Simbu also did well. AR Rahman's music is awesome, but in some places, it didn't fit with the film. Another praised the expressions of the young kid in the film and said that the work of the entire cast was excellent.
