The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir has left the entire country mourning and angered. 28 tourists have lost their lives in this attack. Meanwhile, Vaani Kapoor and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's upcoming cross-border romantic film 'Abir Gulaal' is being severely criticized on social media. Angry netizens are demanding a boycott of this film and are raising questions about Indian artists working with Pakistani artists.

After the Pahalgam attack, people on social media targeted this film fiercely. Many users questioned the promotion of the film and the presence of Fawad Khan. One user wrote, "After this attack on our brothers and sisters, every Pakistani artist should be banned. We strongly condemn this cowardly act." Another user took Vaani Kapoor to task and said, "Vaani, understand the situation.
This film will not be released in India." A third user taunted, "Vaani, just being tall is not enough, show some courage too." At the same time, another person raised the question, "Will Fawad Khan condemn the terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam?"

'Abir Gulaal' is a romantic drama film directed by Aarti S Bagri. It is being told to be a heart-touching story of love. Vaani Kapoor and Fawad Khan are in the lead roles in the film. Its release date has been fixed on 9 May 2025. However due to Fawad Khan, this film has been in controversy since the beginning. The Pahalgam attack has fueled this controversy further.
