Bengaluru: The city woke up to cloudy skies and a pleasant breeze this morning. The residents of the city are set to experience light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning on April 6, 2025. The rainfall is likely to be accompanied by lightning, thunderstorms, and gusty winds.
The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 22 degrees Celsius in the morning and 31 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. The city witnessed the Sunrise at 06:13 AM and the Sun is expected to set at 06:32 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 72 per cent.
Bengaluruians will get respite from heatwave
The state has been experiencing rising temperatures over the past few weeks. Today, the city is expected to enjoy pleasant weather conditions, as light to moderate rainfall is predicted. With summer heat settling in, this period of rain is a welcome change for Bengalurians, who have been coping with warm days.
KSNDMC shared a weather report
The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for next five days on X and wrote, "Cloudy weather is expected across the state today & tomorrow, with thunder, lightning & gale force winds reaching 30-40 kmph, with scattered to widespread moderate rain and isolated heavy rain in the southern interior districts."

According to the IMD, the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 22 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively. No rainfall is expected for Monday and residents will experience sunny day and clear skies.
