Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A young man allegedly murdered his elder brother over ancestral property in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur, as reported on Saturday.
The incident took place in village Koodan under the Bhedaghat police station area on July 20.
Police said, the accused initially tried to disguised the crime as an accident to mislead the police. However, after 5 days of investigation, the truth came to light and 3 of the 4 accused were arrested.
Tragic! 4 Members Of Family Consume Poison In Madhya Pradesh's Sagar, DieThe deceased was identified as Abhishek Singh (26), a resident of Shahpura. He had a property dispute with his younger brother Rishabh Singh (23). Both had a history of criminal activities.
Abhishek was a known criminal in his area, while cases of assault and illegal recovery were also registered against Rishabh in Shahpura and Bhedaghat police stations.
Their feud had been ongoing for over 6 months, despite multiple reunion attempts by family and villagers.

The group brutally attacked Abhishek with a jack and an iron rod, inflicting more than 15 injuries to his head and chest which led to his death on the spot.
The police launched a thorough investigation. 3 out of four accused were arrested in Jabalpur on Friday night, while Raja remains absconding.
ASP confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and efforts are being made to arrest the remaining accused.
