š“ What Happened:- The incident took place under the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme in Mohan Kheda Majra Paharpur on December 14.
- The groom, allegedly intoxicated, slapped the bride Sarla during the jaimala (garland exchange) ceremony.
- The bride declared she would not marry such a man, saying she could not start a new life with someone who disrespected her in front of everyone.
- Tensions escalated rapidly between the brideās side (gharaatis) and the groomās side (baraatis).
- The conflict began earlier during the Dwarchar ceremony when the groomās brother argued over the band.
- Things turned violent after the slap incidentāleading to a full-blown fight.
- Several members from the brideās family were injured, including Suraj, Mukesh, Ashok, Satish, and a girl named Nancy.
