A few years ago, traditional resources like wood, cow dung cakes etc. were used on a large scale for cooking in the country. However, today LPG gas cylinders are now being used for cooking in cities and villages. The government is also running the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana to increase the reach of LPG gas to the people living in the poor and marginal areas of the country. Cooking with LPG gas is quite safe and convenient. However, if you cook with the help of LPG gas cylinder, then you should keep some things in mind. Your slightest negligence can cause a big loss. In this episode, today we are going to tell you about an important thing, which you should know about.
You should know that just like your gas cylinder has an expiry date. Similarly, the pipe installed in it also has an expiry date.
You should replace the pipe installed in the gas cylinder after it expires. When you buy a new pipe, it expires after 18 to 24 months. After using it for this long, you should replace it.
If the pipe is not installed properly in the gas cylinder or you use it after it expires, then there may be a problem of gas leakage. Therefore, you should replace the pipe immediately after it expires.
While buying a pipe, you should take special care that it must have the ISI hallmark mark on it. You can easily buy it from the market or e-commerce websites.
