Jitan Ram Manjhi has raised questions over RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s decision to suspend his son Tej Pratap Yadav from the party for six years. Manjhi asked why no action was taken when Aishwarya Rai Yadav, daughter of Chandrika Rai and granddaughter of Daroga babu, was reportedly beaten and ousted from the house by Rabri Devi.
Manjhi said, “Lalu Prasad talks about culture and dignity while punishing Tej Pratap, but when Aishwarya was brutally expelled from the house, where was that culture and dignity then?”
Following revelations about Tej Pratap’s love affairs and marriage, Lalu expelled him from the family and the party, causing a political stir in Bihar. After Pappu Yadav, Jitan Ram Manjhi is the second leader to openly question Lalu’s decision.
Manjhi also criticized the Lalu family on social media, stating that what happened to Aishwarya will be remembered by every woman in Bihar during the upcoming elections. He challenged the Lalu family to answer how they had the right to ruin a girl’s life while Tej Pratap was in a relationship.
This controversy has intensified the ongoing political drama within the RJD family and Bihar politics.
