There's a bit of a twist next week on , months on from a brutal demise.
A murdered character appears to be alive and well, leaving one family rattled. The Miligan family are left panicked and stunned to receive a message from Anthony Fox, despite knowing he is dead and buried.
With them sure it can't possibly mean he's alive it certainly raises questions, leaving them on edge as they wonder who could really have sent the flowers and why. Whether it means someone had learned the dark truth or there's a twist in store remains to be seen.
A rather vague spoiler for the end of the coming week teases the drama ahead but gives nothing about what happens next. Just as the Miligans try to move on from what happened to Anthony, and the grim truth about what he did to his daughter Ruby Miligan, another twist lies in store.
READ MORE:
The Miligans and others in the village are hiding the truth about Anthony's disappearing act and what led to it. Steph Miligan had been searching for her missing grandfather, unaware that her mother Ruby had killed him and John Sugden buried his body in the woods.
Amongst those covering up the crime include Aaron, Chas and Cain Dingle, and Steph's dad Caleb Miligan. But that wasn't the only shock in store for Steph, with her soon left struggling to cope when she found out about her true parentage.
Steph was told by Ruby that when she was a teenager she was raped by her dad Anthony. Ruby ended up falling pregnant with Steph because of the abuse, making Anthony her biological dad as well as her maternal grandfather.
The truth left her horrified but she agreed to cover up his murder with the others, recently telling love interest Ross about Anthony and the abuse, but keeping out the details surrounding his demise. Just as Steph looks to the future though, 'Anthony' makes contact.

Steph, Ruby and Caleb are all left on edge as he sends a message that could change everything. They receive a bunch of flowers with a note supposedly from Anthony weeks on from his death.
So who has sent the flowers and what are they trying to get out of the Miligans? Does the sender know what really happened to Anthony, or in a major twist could they actually be from Anthony?
After all, some fans are still convinced John lied about the location where he claimed to have buried him. It led to fans being convinced Anthony was not really dead and could make a shock return.
Viewers will have to tune in to upcoming episodes to find out who really sent the flowers and why!
