Fans of a popular UK musician have been left ‘freaked out’ after receiving a mysterious surprise from them in the post. Fans have taken to social media to talk about their deliveries out of the blue from Scottish hitmaker Lewis Capaldi, who sent out what appears to be a thoughtful gift in promotion of his latest single, Something in the Heavens.
But some have been left bemused by the gesture, including influencers Caitlin and Leah. The couple posted a video in which Caitlin explained the situation to their 9.7million TikTok followers. In the clip, watched by more than 536,000 people at the time of writing, Caitlin explained: “Yesterday, we received the creepiest parcel. It scared us so much.
“Yesterday, we received some flowers in the post and I thought, it's our 10 year anniversary, someone has kindly sent us some flowers. And we thought it was really sweet until we looked at the card in the package.”

Inside, the card carried the message: “Something in the heavens tells me that we'll be together again.” This left the pair spooked, Caitlin explained.
She added: “So then I was like, is this a card for my mom's birthday? Because it arrived a couple of days after, and obviously my mum passed away.
“So I thought, maybe it's a sympathy card. So then we open the card.
“This is when we started to really freak out, because these lyrics aren't very nice. We were like, is this a threat? Is someone saying that I'm gonna be with my mom in heaven soon?
“So we start panicking, thinking, who on earth has sent us this? Who has our address?
“Is somebody against us, trying to, like, you know, freak us out? So we phone the flower company, and the flower company can see that it's been delivered, but they can't see who it has been delivered by.
“So they start to investigate. It turns out it's from Lewis Capaldi, it's promoting his new song, and it has been sent to Lewis Capaldi fans.
“And we're not the only ones that have phoned up about this."
Another recipient, newlywed Shelby Greenland, explained how her delivery left her baffled. She said: "I got home from work today to a delivery from Freddie's Flowers that I wasn't expecting and I hadn't ordered.
"There was no name or anything it was just this card," she said.
Puzzled by the surprise, she revealed she reached out to the flower firm to find out more about the enigmatic present: "I messaged the brand and asked can you please tell me who sent the flowers because I wasn't expecting them. They messaged me back and said that they are from Lewis Capaldi, the Lewis Capaldi."
Shocked that the Someone You Loved hitmaker had actually sent them to her, she beamed as she lifted the stunning bouquet towards the camera to show them off with pride. "How amazing is that," she gushed.
"He's got a new album coming out and I think this is the new single, he signed it and everything."
