Love Island's Shakira in tears after heated row as new bombshell shakes up villa

Love Island is set for another night of drama in Friday's instalment of the show when a new bombshell enters the villa - and Shakira breaks down in tears after a bust up with new man Conor.

The 22-year-old Manchester model paired up with Irish rugby player Conor, 25, in a shock recoupling a few days ago, picking him over Barnsley site manager Ty, 23. But at the end of Thursday's episode, Shakira was fuming when Harrison claimed she had deeper feelings for Harry - who she was previously coupled up with - during the Couple of Sorts game.

Ending on a cliffhanger, tonight viewers will see Conor confront Shakira about it when he pulls her for a chat in the Den. But Shakira isn't happy Conor is listening to the boys instead of her.

In a heated argument, she tells him: "It's been twisted and you've wanted to believe the boys straight away. It's ego and pride. Wake up Conor. They're literally the biggest game players here. When have I ever lied to you?"

Upset that Conor doesn't believe her, Shakira breaks down in tears and goes to Toni and Yasmin for support. She sobs: "I don't want to be surrounded by them all the time. For Conor to straight off the cuff believe them… We've been friends for weeks…"

And things could be about to get worse when new bombshell, Angel - who viewers got a tiny glimpse of in a teaser clip last night - enters the villa.

The 26-year-old aesthetics practitioner and salon owner, who hails from Maidenhead, says she isn't looking to play games, as she's headed to Majorca to find 'The One.'

In a preview clip, she says: "I'm ready to get into a relationship as I've been single for a year, so ready to make memories with someone, go travelling with them and fall in love." And she's already got her eye on Ty and Harry - who have both been previously linked with Shakira.

Making a grand entrance in a blue star bikini and tassled leather chaps which show off her bum cheeks, Angel gets the boys hot under their collars as she introduces herself and gives the last answer to the 'Couple of Sorts' game - which saw the other Islanders choose which boys they think rank in her top three.

As Ty, Cach and Boris take to the podiums to await the result, Angel will reveal if their predictions were right and share who her top choice is, potentially causing ructions in the villa. There's sure to be an other recoupling soon - and fans are convinced Angel's arrival means one of the Islanders will be sent packing.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter at the end of the episode, one fan penned: "Is it gonna be whoever Angel chooses goes home," while another thought her arrival would mean an exit for one of the girls.

"I will hate to see Shakira and Toni leave if she steals either Harrison or Connor though yikes!!!!!" said a second. "Can see a girl getting dumped. Producers literally making us rage!!" agreed a third.

Though Harry wasn't one of the boys on the podium, she is later seen having a cosy chat with the 30-year-old semi-professional footballer and model, who is this year's oldest Love Island contestant. But when she tells him she likes being a little spoon but gets feelings for people she sleeps with, Harry says: "We might have to hold off on that spoon in the morning then."
