Music lovers believe they've found the "most talented" singer of a generation after hearing a new song from the hitmaker. Whether everyone is convinced by this claim is yet to be seen, but fans certainly believe the songwriter behind Photograph and Thinking Out Loud is the best of his generation.
Ed Sheeran may be a bold choice for "most talented of this generation" when the likes of Brandon Flowers, Alex Turner, and Amy Winehouse are certainly contenders, but fans are convinced following this new song. A post from Sheeran, featuring his recent Amazon Music performance, has people praising the Lego House hitmaker for his work.
Fans have shared their thoughts on the 34-year-old singer, who recently confirmed he would be moving to the United States with his family.

One person wrote: "Been a fan since he was going through all kinds of music like pubs and gigs and his mall performances, I've been singing him since then and its been an amazing experience to follow such a talented artist."
Another added: "He has an amazing voice." A third wrote: "I love how you release multiple versions of a song and don't wait years to do a newer update. Something about listening to multiples in the same few weeks or months is refreshing and somehow better.
"Love when ever you and the band are back together it feels like going home & like one of the most authentic versions of you singing."
Others believed Sheeran had a talent which keeps him firmly in the number one spot. They wrote: "I will never make him my number two all time favourite musician because even if he stops singing or composing new songs what he already has [released] will always feel like am listening for the first time. A pure talent."
Fans of the songwriter were thrilled also when the songwriter announced he would be leaving the UK, heading out to live in America ahead of a huge headline tour.
Sheeran, 34, confirmed: "I’m just about to move to America." Though he says the reason for the move is for touring purposes, fans believe there is another reason at play.

A post to the r/Music Reddit page saw fans speculate on what the other reasons for Sheeran's move could be. Sheeran added: "I feel like I might be the only person moving to America. I’m going on tour there for a while and I have a family so I can’t dip in and out. We’re going and settling there."
Fans are now suggesting Sheeran's move to America being made permanent is more a comment on the state of the United Kingdom.
One person suggested: "Sounds like he's moving his family to the US since he is touring the US so I guess it is easier to go back home while on tour."
Another added: "Honestly never understood these kind of announcements. Musicians like him are constantly touring the globe and are barely home. Do fans really care where musicians are based?
"I would have guessed he had a home in LA before this announcement. He's rich enough to fly back and forth to the UK every week privately."
