Star Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Andre Russell has completed 1,000 IPL runs at Eden Gardens.

Russell reached the landmark in the 2025 IPL encounter against Delhi Capitals on April 29.

One of the greatest pace-bowling all-rounders, Russell unlocked this achievement with his 11th run in the match.

He has become the third player with 1,000 IPL runs at Eden Gardens.

As mentioned, Russell is the third player to have scored 1,000-plus runs at Eden Gardens in the IPL.

He has joined the likes of Gautam Gambhir (1,407) and Robin Uthappa (1,159) on this elite list. No other batter has more than 900 runs in this regard.

Notably, Russell reached this mark in his 48th encounter on this ground.

Two IPL titles with KKR
Career

Russell has been a mainstay all-rounder for KKR in the IPL since 2014. He played his first two seasons (2012 and 2013) with Delhi Capitals.

Although Russell played just two games in 2014, KKR ended up winning the title. Russell's only other IPL title came in 2024, with the Knight Riders.

Overall, he owns 2,500-plus runs and 117-plus wickets in the tournament.
