Bollywood's fitness freak actress Rakul Preet Singh has recently suffered a serious injury. She suffered a serious back injury while lifting 80 kg weight during a workout in the gym. This incident once again reminds us how important it is to be careful while exercising.
Rakul Preet Singh is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film 'De De Pyar De 2'. On October 5, when she was working out in the gym, she lifted an 80 kg deadlift without wearing a belt. Due to this, she got a cramp in her back. Initially, she ignored the pain and continued with her shooting.
Nerves got blocked
Rakul Preet Singh's pain did not reduce and kept increasing, after which she had to go to the doctor. The doctor advised her to rest. Investigation revealed that her L4, L5 and S1 nerves were blocked. Doctors have advised her to take bed rest and it is being said that her condition is now slowly improving.
What is a deadlift?
Deadlift is a difficult and challenging exercise that strengthens your back and leg muscles, but it is very important to follow the right technique and precautions. Many people, especially beginner fitness enthusiasts, lift weights without using a support belt or correct form, which increases the risk of injury. If you are also doing deadlifts or heavy weight lifting exercises, then it is important to keep some things in mind:
* Always use a support belt.
* Lift weights according to your body's capacity.
* Follow the correct form and seek guidance from a fitness trainer if needed.
* Avoid excessive pressure on the back muscles.
Rakul's incident teaches us that haste or negligence in fitness can have serious consequences. So always be careful while working out and follow the correct technique.
