On Prime Minister Modi's visit to Ghana, Indian-origin Ghanaian citizen Mayank Singh said, 'I have been living in Ghana for the last 15 years. After 30 years, an Indian Prime Minister is coming to Ghana. We feel as if we are going to welcome one of our own. He has developed India in the last 11 years, and he has also raised India's name on the global stage.
PM Modi's full program
In the first phase of the visit, PM Modi will be in Ghana from July 2 to 3. This will be the first Ghana visit of an Indian PM in three decades. He will discuss increasing economic, energy, and defence cooperation in a bilateral meeting with the President of Ghana. He will be in Trinidad and Tobago on July 3-4. This will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister since 1999. In the third phase of the visit, the Prime Minister will visit Argentina from July 4-5 and will discuss partnership in many areas, including defence, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, and trade. Then he will go to Brazil to participate in the BRICS meeting. The PM will reach Namibia on July 9. He is also expected to give a speech in the Parliament there.
