This Bollywood actress is crazy about Banrakas of 'Panchayat'

Whenever there is talk of 'Panchayat' series, there is definitely talk about the character of Bhushan i.e. Banaras. Durgesh Kumar, a seasoned theatre artist, played the role of Bhushan. He became famous in every household by playing this character. The audience liked the character of Bhushan very much. Many actors have also become crazy about Durgesh Kumar's acting in the role of Bhushan. But Bollywood actresses like Alia Bhatt have been a fan of Durgesh's work since a long time. 

Alia liked Durgesh's dance: Durgesh Kumar, born on 21 October 1944 in Darbhanga, Bihar, has informed in a recent interview that he also worked with Alia Bhatt in the film 'Highway'. Meanwhile, I got a special opportunity to spend a lot of time with Alia. He says, 'When I first met Alia Bhatt on the set of the movie Highway, she was a bubbly girl. I had many scenes with her in the movie. I also did a dance step in the film, which Alia liked very much. At that time she told me that I have become a fan of your dance steps. I took this as a compliment. While dancing in the movie, my effort was not to worry about the steps and do the dance steps as I feel right. That's why my dance steps in the movie 'Highway' look natural.  

Acts with dedication: Durgesh Kumar has worked in many movies including Highway and Panchayat series. He tries to immerse himself in his character in every movie and works hard to make it real. Talking about his passion for acting, Durgesh says, 'Talking about the movie 'Highway', I did not bathe for almost twenty days to play my character. Actually, I and director Imtiaz Ali wanted my character to look absolutely natural in the movie. 

Wants to be part of good stories in future too: Reports say that Durgesh Kumar is very happy with the passion with which he has played his characters in the movie 'Highway' and the series 'Panchayat'. This year he appeared in movies like 'Laapata Ladies', 'Bhakshak' and 'Dedh Bigha Zameen'. Durgesh wants to be part of good stories in future too, he has said this in many interviews.
