Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the date of the preliminary examination of Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024. According to the official information, this exam will be conducted on 17 November 2024.

JKPSC informed in its notice that those who have applied for Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024, their examination will be held on 17 November 2024 (Sunday). Candidates can complete their preparation keeping this information in mind.
About Recruitment Drive
A total of 90 vacancies will be filled under this recruitment drive. There are posts available for three major services:
Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (Junior Scale): 30 posts Jammu and Kashmir Police Service: 30 posts Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Service: 30 posts
Selection Process
The candidates will have to go through three stages for selection:
Preliminary Exam Main Exam Personality Test (Interview)
The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in written examination and interview.
Pattern of Preliminary Exam
The JKPSC CCE preliminary exam will consist of two papers:
General Studies Paper 1: 200 marks General Studies Paper 2 (CSAT): 200 marks
Both papers will have objective type questions and will be conducted in English. The special thing is that General Studies Paper 2 (CSAT) will be considered for qualification only, and it is necessary to obtain a minimum of 33% marks in it. Candidates who will clear the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear in the main examination.
