BBC Breakfast's Sally Nugent says 'I'll be having words with him' after 'cheeky' swipe

star Sally Nugent was quick to defend Carol Kirkwood after co-stars 'cheeky' swipe live on air.

During Wednesday's episode of the BBC hit show, Sally was back on our TV screens alongside Ben Thompson as they discussed the day's top stories.

The duo were joined by weather presenter Carol, who was armed and ready with a meteorological update. Carol warned viewers to 'watch out' for heavy rain and strong winds in the coming days but things turned around as Ben made a cheeky dig at the star.

Speaking about the weather ahead, Ben turned to Carol and joked: "If you stay there does it not come because it's behind you?

Carol pointed at his dress and said:: "What are you saying? You cheeky thing Ben." Everyone burst out laughing as Sally leaped to her defence and said: "I'll be having words with him." Ben added: "I'm in trouble."
