BBC interviewer Nada Tawfik has spoken out about Prince Harry's latest interview - revealing exactly what went on behind the scenes. Harry, 40, had been seeking to overturn a High Court decision and moved to the US.
Earlier this week, . Speaking of - who she described as "easy to talk to" - Nada revealed in a article that the chat took place in a set-up close to the home he shares with his wife and children.
Nada said: "The home wasn't his, but rather a convenient meeting point a few miles from where he lives with his wife Meghan and their two children - Archie, five, and Lilibet, three."
The interviewer also added: "As we set up our cameras in the living room, we pulled up the latest court updates and news lines being filed by our teams in London.
"Meanwhile, we were warned to keep the doors closed so that the screaming peacocks on the porch wouldn't come inside."
Discussing Harry, she added: "I found Prince Harry to be down-to-earth, softly spoken and easy to talk to. He didn't arrive with an entourage and politely introduced himself to us, shaking each of our hands. I was surprised that he knew I had flown in from New York to do the interview."
Speaking of the moment before the cameras started filming, she added that the conversation started with some "very brief small talk" which broke the ice before they got down to business. She added that they did not talk about the contents of the interview beforehand.

In support of the Duke of Sussex, she said that he did not get "defensive" when pressed over certain topics, such as why protection on a case-by-case basis made him feel at greater risk. She shared: "He wasn't defensive or combative, and he wanted to address each of those points."
Dicussing how Harry came across, she added: "With his foot tapping frequently as he spoke, he was surprisingly candid and forthcoming..."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been living in California since 2020. Moving stateside with their young son, the couple welcomed Lilibet the following year, in 2021.
