The former Strictly Come Dancing star, 40, shares 15-month old Lyra with husband . The tight-knit family are wisely managing their joint schedules as Alja, 34, continues taking part in this year's series of Strictly alongside Tasha Ghouri.
Alja, who returned to the BBC show after a two-year hiatus, and star Tasha, 26, have been wowing the audience and judges, triumphantly hitting the top of the leaderboard three times in four weeks.
Meanwhile, Janette has been delighting fans on It Takes Two, sharing presenting duties with while also balancing motherhood and other work commitments.
But it was during a recent moment at home that Janette found herself emotional as she discovered her daughter experimenting with her footwear.
Accompanying the endearing snapshot of Lyra wearing a pair of her trainers, Janette remarked: "Love how the first pair of mami's shoes she tried were sneakers as it's what I live in most of the time!" complete with several holding back tears emojis.
Her fans and followers were quick to react in the comments section, with gushing: "Soooooo cute." A second added: "Your feet are so tiny they almost fit her already."
Another posted: "So CUTE and ADORABLE." A fourth posted: "That's only the beginning of her wearing mums shoes I love it," as someone else chimed in: "Aww and she's got them on right feet too bless her."
In another post, Alja took a moment to reflect on how quickly his daughter is growing up. He posted a screenshot on his Instagram Story from a recent FaceTime call with Janette and Lyra, taken while he was busy training in London for the upcoming week on Strictly.
He captioned the image: "Ugh where is time flying?" This comes after Janette's candid admission with her followers about her and Alja's hectic schedules.
She shared: "Hi everyone, I have lots to say. I'm exhausted and I need to make sure I say it because it's been on my mind and I keep saying I'm going to talk about it and then Lyra takes over. She's asleep now hence why I do a lot of my chatting to you late-night,do a lot of my chatting to you late-night and I'm getting ready to pack and head down to London."
The presenter continued: "So if I haven't told you, maybe I have, I can't remember. My brain is here there and everywhere these days. We are commuting so the plan is that Lyra and I go down to London on Wednesday and we stay Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Aljaz in London and then we come back home on Saturday."
Despite their busy schedules, Janette revealed the family of three are finally finding a routine that works for them. She added: "This is our third week doing it now and we're starting to fall into a little bit of a routine which is really good for Lyra and really good for us for just planning and organising life."
