Charlie Fellowes will leave Kieran Shoemark in charge of the pair's bid for Classic redemption in France with Luther.
The three-year-old son of Frankel chases the Qatar Prix du Jockey Club after running a brave fourth in the French 2,000 Guineas three weeks ago.
It came on a day at Longchamp when the French 1,000 Guineas was snatched away from the trainer and jockey in the stewards' room.
Their horse She's Perfect, owned by the Basher Watts Racing syndicate, interfered with nose runner-up and local favourite Zarigana - a decision upheld on appeal.
Beaten only a length-and-a-half by Henry Matisse in his own Group One, Luther habitually finishes well but Fellowes will see how the race unfolds from stall 13 of 18.
"We would have liked a draw on the inside so won't be handcuffing ourselves down to certain tactics," he said.
"It'll be up to Kieran - he is an intelligent jockey with a great set of hands. The horse is straightforward and can be ridden prominently or use his wicked turn of foot from the back.

"Tying someone down to instructions can complicate things."
After losing the number one job as top jockey to trainers John and Thady Gosden amid a 2,000 Guineas defeat for Field of Gold, Shoemark was right back on the up with She's Perfect.
But in dramatic scenes, Zarigana was promoted to first due to interference caused by Fellowes' filly as she hung left in the straight.
Subsequently a France Galop committee agreed with the raceday stewards at that Shes Perfect came off a straight line and caused the issue.
"It was devastating to lose a race of such magnitude in the way we did," Fellowes added.
"But you can't be anything other than proud of the way She's Perfect and Luther both performed."
