Jeremy Clarkson has provided an exciting update on his Amazon Prime series, Clarkson's Farm. In just three short words, he confirmed that season 5 of the hit show will soon be hitting screens.
Posting to Instagram, the 65-year-old former Top Gear star sat around a burnt-out fire in the middle of a lush green field, joined by his co-stars, including partner Lisa Hogan, farm favourite Kaleb Cooper, and other regulars Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper. Jeremy delighted fans with the caption, as he penned: "Season 5. It's a wrap," indicating that filming had now finished. Fans were absolutely over the moon with the short but sweet update with many sharing their comments about their thoughts on the popular programme. One wrote: "Seriously amazing news guys! I know you must all work incredibly hard for this show, in all weathers but just know it is truly appreciated. I must have watched seasons 1-4 3 times over and read all the books twice so far. It's a combination of humour, education around farming and the beautiful cinematic shots of our glorious countryside that does it for me."
Another fan added: "Great work to the entire team on filming in all weather. Best wishes from Stow."
While a third said: "I hope you never stop filming Clarkson's Farm Jeremy, even when you're eighty-hundred and a million ten, it'll still be bloody brilliant. Hope to come and visit soon. Best wishes to you all."
Diddly Squat has faced a multitude of dramas during its time on screen, from car parking issues and pig deaths to teething problems with Jeremy's new pub The Farmer's Dog.
The season five wrap comes after Jeremy previously said the cast and crew would be taking a well-deserved rest after shooting five consecutive seasons.
He previously told The Times: "I'd do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a b****y good story... Whatever happens we'll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out.
"We've been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest."
