Meghan Markle had a busy weekend celebrating the US's Independence Day with her nearest and dearest. The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram account over Friday and Saturday to post a series of videos and pictures of how she celebrated the Fourth of July with her family and friends.
After making a post about how she marks each holiday with a sweet tradition which involves her two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, making red, blue and white cupcakes, after the American flag, the Duchess posted a new video on how to make a very patriotic cocktail and celebrate on the day. Meghan's Instagram story showed the Duchess whipping up a gin with tonic, raspberries, blueberries and mint to make the special concoction, which she then proceeded to share with one of her best pals, Kelly McKee Zajfen. Meghan captioned her video, telling her followers: "Cheers with the ones you love."

The Duchess looked chic in a blue and white two-piece by Farm Rio, which consisted of a tapestry knit cropped top (£140) and a matching skirt (£210) and her favourite gold jewellery.
Meghan's hair was styled straight and let down while she bore a bare, glowing face.
Her patriotic cocktail was easy to make at home and consisted of mashed-up raspberries in a glass, topped with ice and blueberries before adding gin and tonic, or as Meghan suggested, any "spirit of your choosing".
The Duchess garnished her concoction with mint straight from her Montecito garden before drinking it with her pal.

Meghan's pal, Kelly, also shared a picture of their day together, with the message: "Here's to freedom, to friendship, and to finding moments of joy wherever we can. Grateful for this day, this sunshine, and this perfectly chilled cocktail. Thank you sweet M! Wishing everyone a safe, sparkly, and love-filled Fourth of July."
Earlier in the day, Meghan also shared three pictures to mark the US holiday.
They consisted of a selfie with the Duke, a picture with some red, blue and white cupcakes, and a Fourth of July cupcake.
The selfie was previously shared in black and white in their Netflix show, Harry & Meghan.
According to People magazine, the lone cupcake with the words "4th of July" is the one Harry brought Meghan back in 2016.
