Maruti Suzuki eVXMaruti Suzuki will introduce its first electric vehicle in India next year. The brand will showcase the production version of this upcoming electric SUV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. We first saw a glimpse of this new electric SUV from Maruti Suzuki in the form of the eVX concept at the Auto Expo 2022. The production version of the eVX will first go on sale in Europe and Japan and arrive in India by early 2025. It will also spawn a Toyota counterpart that will be manufactured in India for global markets.

Hyundai Creta EVHyundai will soon introduce an electric version of the Creta in India. The brand has extensively tested this new product on our roads and abroad. The Creta EV will share components with the petrol-powered models but will likely have unique design features for a distinctive identity. Specifications of this new electric SUV will be revealed closer to its launch date. However, there is a chance that the Creat EV might share its powertrain with the Kona EV. The electric version of the Creta is expected to launch in India sometime in early 2025.

Tata Sierra EVTata Motors is bringing back the iconic Sierra nameplate to India. However, this time, it will arrive with an electric powertrain. The brand showcased the first glimpse of this upcoming electric SUV as a concept at the 2020 Auto Expo. Subsequently, we saw a version closer to the production guise at the Bharat Mobility Expo last year. Details about the Sierra EV are still under wraps. Mahindra XUV.e8Mahindra will soon launch five new electric vehicles in India. The XUV.e8 is one of the highly anticipated products. It is essentially an electric version of the XUV700, sharing similar dimensions, exterior design, and interior layout. However, in the teaser images shared by the brand, we can see certain unique aesthetic elements that will set the electric version apart from the petrol models. The XUV.e8 will be underpinned by Mahindra's INGLO platform and is expected to launch by the end of 2024.

Honda Elevate EVHonda will introduce an electric version of the Elevate in India. The Japanese brand confirmed that its compact electric SUV will arrive within three years. Details regarding the Elevate EV are still under wraps. What is known is that Honda will export the Elevate EV from India to global markets, such as Japan.
