Send Push

On October 11, Friday, veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma took to his social media handles to share a candid moment with Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, which sparked off a wave of speculations by fans. The director posted a picture of Fahadh as he wrote, Varma wrote, โ€œ1st ever shot I took of Fahadh Faasil and the expression on his face, he directed himself.โ€ This resulted in a frenzied online discussion regarding the possibility of a potential collaboration between the two.

Refuting All SpeculationsHowever, a follow-up tweet by the director, after a couple of hours, refuted those speculations. The image was taken casually in a decorative tunnel at Ramโ€™s studio, referred to as "RGV DEN", and not on a film set as many assumed. The second tweet featured a selfie with both Fahadh and Ram, as the Satya director chided, "For the dumbos who believed the pic in my previous tweet that it was a film shot, it was just a random pic shot in a decorative tunnel at RGV DEN when Fahadh Faasil visited me.โ€
