Prabhas’s upcoming film Fauji (working title) under director Hanu Raghavapudi is presently under pre-production. The period drama was launched in August and features social media star Imanvi as the female lead.

Namitha Pramod In Fauji?While the film recently commenced shooting in Madurai, rumours are rife that Malayalam actress Namitha Pramod has been roped in for an important role. Buzz is that director Hanu Raghavapudi has written a significant role in the story and that he had cast Namitha Pramod for the part. However, neither the director nor the production house confirmed the reports. Namitha was earlier part of Telugu films like Chuttalabbayi and Kathalo Rajakumari. If the reports about her casting in Prabhas’s film Fauji would be true, then it’s like a comeback of sorts for the actress in Tollywood. Fauji’ Is Set In The Backdrop Of 1945‘Fauji’ is set in the backdrop of 1945 in which Prabhas essays the role of a soldier working in the British Army. As per early rumors, the first look of Prabhas will be unveiled on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. The upcoming action-drama also reportedly features Jaya Prasad Mithun Chakraborty in crucial roles in which he will essay the role of the father. The music has been composed by ‘Sita Ramam’ fame music director Vishal Chandrasekhar and the project has been bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
