On October 19, Saturday, the makers of the film took to their social media to announce that the film would be hitting the big screens on November 7. The new announcement was accompanied by a new poster featuring Naslen and the Anishma Anilkumar, who is playing the female lead. Expected to be a family entertainer with thriller elements, I Am Kathalan has been written by Sajin Cherukayil, and features debutant Anishma Anilkumar as the female lead. The film also stars actors Dileesh Pothan, Lijomol Jose, Vineeth Viswam, TG Ravi, and Vineeth Vasudevan in pivotal roles.
