Shruti Haasan is playing Adivi Sesh’s love interest in their upcoming Pan India film Dacoit. The gangster drama is being helmed by cinematographer turned director Shaneil Deo. Shruti already shot a few scenes for her portion in the film. However, according to the latest reports, the actress has reportedly backed out of the film.
Shruti Haasan Exits Dacoit?Shruti Haasan was excited with the film when she heard the narration. The actress instantly flagged off the film and was all kicked to work with Adivi Sesh. After having shot for a few scenes, the filmmakers also shared a BTS photo from the sets. Just when everything was going smoothly Shruti Haasan reportedly backed out from the film – much to the shock of the Dacoit team.The development came as a blow to the filmmakers because Shruti liked the script, her character design and the young team and she was so excited to be part of the project. This clearly indicates that creatively she never had any issues with the filmmakers. But the reason for her exit from the film remains a mystery. Wasting no time, the makers of Dacoit have reportedly started looking for a replacement. They are seen as ex-lovers as they battle their way through for a high-octane face off that sets the tone of the movie.
