Hyderabad: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning today. As per a solo forecaster on X (Telangana Weatherman) has updated that a weather alert is there in Hyderabad as a depression is set to cross the South Andhra Pradesh coast and enter Rayalaseema today. Residents of Hyderabad should prepare for significant thunderstorms and heavy rainfall expected between noon and night, particularly in areas marked in red on weather maps. Isolated to scattered storms are anticipated in areas marked in blue.
Weather Forecast for HyderabadThe city will experience two spells of sudden heavy rain during the afternoon and evening, although the rainfall will not be continuous, as per the forecaster on X. The easterly convergence is likely to produce additional rainfall spells east of Hyderabad, with scattered rain continuing throughout the city.
The detailed weather forecast for the coming days is as follows:- 16th October: Temperatures will range from 23.0°C to 30.0°C, with rain or thundershowers accompanied by strong gusty winds.- 17th October: The temperature is expected to be between 23.0°C and 31.0°C, with rain or thundershowers likely towards evening or night.- 18th October: Similar conditions with rain or thundershowers and strong winds, temperatures ranging from 23.0°C to 31.0°C.- 19th October: Rain or thundershowers with strong winds, temperatures between 23.0°C and 30.0°C.- 20th October: Another day of rain or thundershowers with gusty winds, temperatures ranging from 23.0°C to 30.0°C.- 21st October: A continuation of rainfall is expected.- 22nd October: Rain is forecasted, with temperatures between 23.0°C and 29.0°C.Residents are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions as the weather conditions may lead to localised flooding and strong winds.DEPRESSION MOVING INLAND ⚠️
