402 police officers transferred in Patna

Patna: In a major administrative move aimed at improving law and order in Patna , senior superintendent of police Avkash Kumar has ordered the transfer of 402 sub-inspectors and assistant sub-inspectors across various police stations in the district.

Officers from the police lines who had long been awaiting field postings have now been given the opportunity to contribute to crime control efforts in the capital.
