Key accused Sukha, wanted in plot to kill Salman Khan held in Haryana by Navi Mumbai police

NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai police arrested the key accused, identified as Sukha , from Panipat in Haryana. This arrest was in connection with the FIR registered at Panvel Taluka Police Station for conducting reconnaissance at actor Salman Khan 's farmhouse in Waje Village, Panvel. The reconnaissance was allegedly part of a plot to kill the actor while he was on his way to his farmhouse in Panvel.

After the firing at the actor's Galaxy Apartment in Bandra in April this year, the Navi Mumbai police maintained a vigil on the actor's Panvel farmhouse . They learned that two suspects plotting to kill the actor were staying on rent in Panvel Taluka and had conducted reconnaissance of the actor's farmhouse. Consequently, an FIR was registered at Panvel Taluka Police Station against the two accused, informed DCP (Crime) Amit Kale.

DCP Kale said, "The key accused, Sukha, was apprehended on Wednesday and is being brought to Navi Mumbai. He will be produced in Panvel Court on Thursday."
