HISAR: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday hailed the launch of air services from Hisar’s Maharaja Agrasen Airport as the beginning of “a new direction, a new flight, and a new era” for the state.

Speaking at the Sankalp Ki Udaan ceremony marking the start of flights to Ayodhya and the foundation stone laying of Terminal-2, Saini credited the rapid progress to the “triple engine government” led by Prime Minister Narender Modi. The event coincided with the 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

“This is a historic day for Hisar and Haryana. With direct flights to Ayodhya, Jammu, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh, the state is stepping into a new phase of development,” said the Chief Minister.

Saini praised Hisar as a land rich in heritage, hard work, and sacrifice, referencing Rakhigarhi’s ancient civilization and Agroha’s commercial legacy. He said Haryana is actively contributing to PM Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047.

Recalling the Prime Minister’s 2024 rally in Hisar, Saini said the BJP’s third consecutive term in the state reflects public trust in its leadership and governance. He noted that 19 promises from the party’s manifesto have been fulfilled within 100 days, with progress underway on the rest.
