NEW DELHI: Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) emerged as the winner of the Delhi round of the RBI90Quiz , held by the Reserve Bank of India to commemorate its 90th anniversary. The victorious team, consisting of Ishaan Yewale and Harshita Jain, outperformed 68 teams from various institutions and is now set to compete in the zonal finals later this year.
The state-level competition was conducted at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, where teams from prominent colleges across the capital participated. Teams from Maulana Azad Medical College and Sri Venkateswara College secured second and third places, respectively, earning Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 1 lakh in prize money. The winning team, SSCBS, was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh for their outstanding performance.
The RBI90Quiz, which began with an online phase from September 19-21, 2024, is a multi-stage general knowledge competition targeting undergraduate students nationwide. Winners from the state-level rounds will proceed to the zonal stage, scheduled between November 21 and December 4, 2024. The national finals will be held in Mumbai in December, where the top teams will battle for the championship.
This initiative is part of RBI’s ongoing efforts to engage youth and promote knowledge of economic and financial matters, marking its 90th anniversary with educational and interactive events across India.
