Hina Khan is currently undergoing treatment for stage 3 breast cancer in Mumbai. Since her diagnosis was revealed, she has been sharing her resilient journey on social media. On October 15, she shared a selfie on Instagram, expressing gratitude to God for the strength and support she has received during this challenging time.
The post read: “Me in every breath, with every beat of my heart, every fiber of my being. GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING. Alhamdulillah. No complaints, just pure love and unshakable faith.”
In the selfie, Hina wore a black sweatshirt that said “Grateful for everything” over a blue striped shirt. The actress shared that she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in June and reassured fans that her treatment had started, saying she was “doing well.”
“I’d want to share some important news with all Hinaholics and those who love and care about me. I’ve been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Despite this hard diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and completely committed to overcoming this illness. My treatment has already begun, and I am prepared to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger,” the actress wrote.
Recently, Khan posted a close-up picture of her eye, showing that she has lost almost all her eyelashes due to chemotherapy. Along with the photo of her single natural eyelash, she wrote about the challenges of her cancer treatment, "Wanna know what’s my current source of motivation? Once part of a mighty and beautiful brigade that adorned my eyes, my genetically long and beautiful lashes. This BRAVE, LONE WARRIOR my last standing Eyelash has fought it all beside me. Nearing the last cycle of my Chemo, this single Eyelash is my MOTIVATION. We shall see this all through".
Hina is widely recognised for her performances in popular television shows such as ' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', and 'Naagin 5'. She also gained significant attention as a contestant on Salman Khan 's ' Bigg Boss 11 '.
