The unusual event quickly went viral after being shared on X (formerly Twitter), sparking widespread reactions online.

Many users were perplexed, as climbing the pyramid is strictly forbidden due to preservation and safety rules. The dog's impressive feat has since become the subject of humorous and speculative comments, with some hailing the dog as the "new ruler" of the pyramid and others questioning how it managed the daunting 450-foot climb.

Paraglider captures unusual sighting

In a video shared by paramotorist Alex Lang , while paragliding over the Pyramids of Giza, he captured an unexpected moment. While soaring above the ancient structure, he noticed some movement at the apex of the pyramid.

To his amazement, it was a dog chasing birds at the top of the 450-foot-tall pyramid. An X user shared the video, captioning it: "Dog spotted hanging out on the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt . The man who filmed the incident from his powered paraglider says the dog was barking at birds. Internet reactions to the dog on top of the pyramid

The sighting has left many baffled, considering that climbing the Great Pyramid is strictly prohibited due to preservation and safety concerns. The dog's unaided ascent has sparked widespread curiosity, with internet users sharing a mix of amusement and disbelief. One user humorously wrote, "That's his pyramid now. He conquered it." Another quipped, "Sometimes you just gotta climb the highest hill and bark at some birds, man."
A third comment speculated, "Not a dog. That is the Egyptian God Anubis. He is considered the guide of the dead in the afterlife and the protector of the tombs. That's why it is over the pyramid." A more sceptical user added, "Those blocks are BIG. That's a crazy climb for a dog. I'm not convinced."
