Its not easy to say good bye and give farewell to the Maa Durga, divine feminine power. Maa Shakti is the one, who is extremely compassionate, greatest of givers, and the mother of this universe, who nurture all the human and living beings. But, according to the rituals, mother has to go back to her abode (Kailash Parbat) where Lord Shiva resides. She comes on earth to look after her devotees and children, who worship her for nine long days with immense devotion and purity. Before going back to Kailash Parbat, Maa bestow all the devotees with the desired wish fulfillments. People celebrate Durga Visarjan with great pomp and show and people take out the processions with dhol and sing devotional songs.
